Food Vendors MATI 2025 Food Truck Application – Questionnaire General Guidelines * Food Truck Category: This application is for mobile food vendors (i.e., food trucks, trailers, carts with mobility) only. If you operate a tent-based food booth, please do not complete this form. Festival Dates: Food trucks must operate for the full duration of the event (Friday, September 12th - Sunday, September 14th). Specific gate and operating hours will be shared in the official advance. Participation Fee: Food truck placement fees will be communicated directly upon acceptance. Payment in full is required to confirm your participation. Self-Sufficiency Requirement: All food trucks must be entirely self-sufficient, including power, water, lighting, and gray water containment. No festival-provided electricity, water, or lighting will be available. Generators: Only quiet/low-noise generators are allowed. Loud or disruptive models will be required to shut down or leave the site. Permits & Licensing: All food trucks must have valid: - St. Louis City health permits - Food handler certificates - Mobile vending licenses - Proof of general liability insurance (minimum $1M) Copies will be required prior to final load-in confirmation. Application & Selection Process · All applications will be reviewed based on menu offerings, presentation, and compatibility with the overall MATI experience. · Due to limited space, not all applicants will be accepted. · Preference may be given to vendors with prior festival experience or unique food offerings that enhance the festival atmosphere. · If selected, you will receive an acceptance email with next steps and payment details. Food Truck Requirements · Vehicle Dimensions: You must provide exact total length (including hitch), width, and any additional footprint (e.g., serving windows, foldouts). · Set-Up and Load-In: Assigned arrival/load-in times will be included in the advance packet. Trucks must be on-site and fully operational before gates open each day. · Load-Out and Teardown: No early departure or teardown is allowed. Trucks must remain fully operational until festival closure. · Waste Management: - All trucks must dispose of gray water offsite. - Each truck is responsible for keeping its footprint clean and tidy. - Trash must be bagged and placed in designated disposal zones. · Fire Safety:· Trucks must have appropriate fire suppression systems per city code. This will be checked on-site. ·· Staffing & Credentials:· - Each truck will receive up to 4 vendor wristbands for your staff. - These wristbands allow access to your vending area and general admission grounds only. Prohibited Items & Policies · No sale or display of alcohol, CBD, or cannabis-infused products. · No roaming sales permitted. · No amplified sound, flashing lights, or excessive noise from your truck. · Vendors violating safety, health, or event policies will be removed without refund and disqualified from future participation. Check! Weather, Security, and Liability · The event is rain or shine. No refunds for inclement weather. · Overnight security will be on-site; however, Kranzberg Arts Foundation is not responsible for lost or stolen property. · You must maintain insurance coverage throughout the event.
